EVENT: 2018 Pittsburgh Marathon
EVENT DATE: May 06, 2018
DAYS TO GO: 16
In May of 2017, I ran my first half marathon in honor of my mother, who had a rare form of Lymphoma that first appeared as a tumor in her breast. After six months of treatment, she was declared in remission and has been in remission for over five years. This May, I will be running the half marathon to raise money again for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I chose to raise money for this cause because I am one of the lucky ones who is able to say that my mother fought AND won her battle with cancer, but not everyone gets to have the same experience. I am raising money for my mother and for those who have won their battle, lost their battle, and are still fighting their battle. Thank you for checking out my fundraising page and for supporting me in my endeavors!
