On any given night, nearly 50,000 veterans are living on the streets in the U.S. Here in Central Florida, we have committed as a community to end this injustice, once and for all. In the month of July, the Central Florida Commission on Homelessness lead a Veterans Surge, with the goal of going out across the region and finding every homeless Veteran and start the process of getting them into housing. With the help of over 300 dedicated volunteers, we were able to do just that. Now our job is to finish this critical mission.
