It is with great enthusiasm that we offer your organization a wonderful opportunity to become a significant sponsor of the Lockport New Beginnings, Inc. Women’s Expo of 2014. The expo will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2014.

We are not asking for monetary sponsorship. We are asking for product sponsorship. We will be extremely grateful for any quantity that you can give. It is our estimate that approximately 300 women will attend this event.

Lockport New Beginnings, Inc. was founded in 1994 by Mrs. Carsee Herring. It is a not-for-profit faith based organization that began with a focus on drug and alcohol prevention and expanded to meet the needs of families and young people in our community. In addition to our substance abuse program, LNB implemented programs such as, Minority Outreach Services, Young Men and Women of Character, and Friday Youth Night. Our latest project, L.I.F.T.T. (Learning Information For Today and Tomorrow), is an after school program designed to reach children at risk of falling behind academically.  To advance our causes, LNB annually host “Walking for a Drug-free Community,” a golf tournaments, and banquet, along with other fund raising events—all in support of our mission to eradicate chemical and alcohol dependency.

Women living in Niagara County have some issues that are unique. For example, this county has the highest rate of teen pregnancy and STDs in the state. To help combat it, there will be workshops and speakers that will discuss these issues with young women, coupled with workshops on positive self awareness and self image. Niagara County also has higher rates of cardiovascular disease and diabetes than the state rate. We will have medical experts to discuss these issues.

This Women’s Expo is designed to promote awareness and dialog  about women’s issues among the women of  Niagara County , New York and the surrounding areas. We will have guest speakers and workshops in the areas of finance, family, health, domestic violence, education, legal, religion, car repair and maintenance, job procurement, human trafficking, and drug and alcohol addiction.

The Women’s Expo of 2014 is committed to helping women have better lives through dissemination of information and materials to aid them. This is the reason that we are seeking product donations from you, so that LNB can begin, what we hope to be, a yearly event, enriching the lives of women.

In return for your sponsorship, LNB will hang your company banner at the event. We will also ensure that your company logo will be added to our 20th Annual Banquet Platinum Journal, and will appear on our website.

We would feel privileged if representatives from your company would join us for the event, so that we may personally thank you; and if your company is interested in being a part of this event, please contact us.

We are thankful your time. Would you please let us know if you wish to help with such a worthy event. We hope that you contact us soon.
