EVENT DATE: Nov 18, 2017
At least 33,000 Elephants are killed across Africa each year for their ivory tusks. It is driven by poverty, corruption, greed and a demand for ivory in Asian countries, where owning ivory is seen as a sign of prestige. But there is hope. By supporting the efforts of NGOs like STE, we can stop the killing, disrupt traffickers, and help to bring an end to the demand for ivory. Over the last 8 years, I have been actively involved with the organization Save the Elephants, whose research, science, and partnerships across the globe are securing a future for Africa's elephants, as well as the communities who share the land. Please join hands with me and help me Save the Elephants. Donations accepted through Wildlife Conservation Network, Inc.
