Hi Friends, as most of you know I have been volunteering and occasionally fostering for Lulu’s Rescue for the past year. These dogs are rescued from kill shelters down south, transported up to NJ and then placed in permanent homes all thru foster based families like myself. The cost to save just one dog from these kill shelters is at minimum $250. That includes transport, shots and medical treatment. They always bring up the most wonderful dogs. We have loved all of our fosters and in fact ended up adopting our last one, Clover.
On Sunday September 18th, the Lulu's community will come together for "Ready, Set, Walk". This walk will help raise the funds we need for the next 12 months of work by Lulu's Rescue. These dogs need our help to save their lives. This is why I’m walking at this event and I hope you’ll support me. Whatever you want to give is perfect. Thank you for caring about these dogs as much as I do.
