EVENT: 24 Hours of Stratton 2018
EVENT DATE: Mar 17, 2018
To All My Friends,
We all have many joys in our lives but there is a place in Vermont that has always given my family great joy and happiness. This is a place where my parents would take me when I was learning how to ski. Now it’s the place that I take my family skiing. It’s a place that is our second home, a place that makes us feel welcome. It’s a place that we call “Stratton”.
Stratton Vermont is a small town in Southern Vermont. It is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous mountains, great skiing, and warm, friendly people. What many people don’t realize is that hidden away from us weekenders, the area is suffering. Families are struggling to put food on the table; kids are going to school hungry, in need of school supplies, and health services. The Stratton Foundation is a foundation that is trying to eradicate poverty in this community.
The Stratton Foundation is hosting Stratton 24, a ski marathon that begins on Saturday morning, January 7th and ends Sunday morning, January 8th. I will be participating in this 24-hour ski marathon in hopes of raising awareness and funds. I am asking for your donation to help the children and families who are in need.
For those who would like to donate via credit card please click on our DONATE button. For those who would like to donate by check please make the check out to the Stratton Foundation and mail it to my attention:
