We did it!
March 29, 2016
Shredfest raises funds for Chill to provide opportunities for underserved youth to build self-esteem and life skills through board sports. The kids come from all different backfrounds and face a variety of life challenges. Some have never been to the mountains or seen snow before. In six weeks of patience, persistance, responsability, courage, respect and pride they learn that they are capable of much more than they ever thought. As a volunteer I get to share in the feeling of joy when a kid stands up on a board for the first time or graduates from the bunny hill and it's truly a privilege. Thanks for giving so that the shreding can continue!
