Love & Support for Barbara Miller and Family
Organized by: Christopher Hickman
Thank you again everyone!
October 12, 2016
Barbara Miller, of Wauwatosa, WI, was a beloved member of the community as well as a wife, mother, teacher, and devout Christian who was afflicted by a ruptured brain aneurysm on July 2nd, 2016. Even more tragic is that she also suffered an aneurysm 22 years ago from which she recovered. Despite the challenges, Barb was renowned for her love of the Lord, her family, and her students.
Barb was welcomed to heaven in the early morning hours of July 19th. The outpouring of love and support thus far has been immeasurable, as well as the offers to do more. We appreciate each and every message of encouragement and support that is received. It reminds us that we are connected to caring friends and family both near and far.
The thought is that this forum will be a method for people who are not sure what they can do to have a positive impact for Barb's family. Your donations will provide help toward expenses the family will face that are related to these efforts but outside what could be covered by an insurance policy.
My name is Christopher Hickman, and I am a friend of the family who is setting this up on their behalf with the full support and involvement of Keith (husband), Carrie and Kathleen (daughters), and Travis (son-in-law). My wife Aimee, Carrie's college roommate and friend dating back to before the prior event will also play a large role in coordinating this effort.
This family has a long road ahead of them. Every bit of support helps them focus their energy on the grieving process and each other. ANY help you can provide will be appreciated - if you can't donate, spread this to your friends, family, and social circle to raise awareness. If there is one thing that has been clear during this process, Barb has friends, prayer warriors, and well-wishers both numerous and far and wide. I feel blessed to have recently become more acquainted with her myself and fortunate to be able to help out in this small way. Thank you for your prayers and help.
