THE STORY:
Anyone having the pleasure of meeting Robin Blackwell has been touched by her kindness, generous spirit, loving heart and let's not forget those brownies!
After Mr Blackwell sadly passed away Mrs B lost nearly 25% of her fixed income, leaving her with even less to cover her monthly bills, utilities and her mortgage which has caused her to fall behind. It has also left her without the money to begin to pay for some very large bills dealing with the medical issues of the past year. We all know how much Mr and Mrs B gave back to their community, so much so that a new field house in Berkley was dedicated and named the "Ray Blackwell Field House" in recognition of 23 years of service as an Berkley Dad's Club coach and we all know it couldn't have been done without Mrs B!
We can only imagine how difficult and emotional it has been for her after losing her husband of 51 years, let's make sure she doesn't have to continue to deal with the stress and hardship brought on by these financial worries. I'm hoping we can raise enough money to allow Mrs B to breathe a sigh of relief and allow her to focus on what she loves to do the most and that's spending time with her grandkids. Let's show Mrs B how much we love her!
