Loyola High School of Detroit, a Catholic school in the Jesuit tradition, nurtures a culture of hope and academic success for young men challenged by an urban environment and prepares them to be men of Christian love, justice, and service who act with integrity, compassion and courage.
Over 65% of our young men come from homes below the poverty level. Tuition is $4,100 per student and over 90% of our students received some form of tuition assistance. Despite these financial obstacles and the hurdles of their urban environment, 100% of Loyola's graduating class has continually been accepted into a 2 or 4-year college program.
Through the RiseDetroit Charity Challenge, we are asking you to help support two students and make a contribution toward Loyola's annual tuition of $4,100 per student. Loyola has the opportunity to win an additional $50,000 if we raise the most in donations before Friday, October 30th at 11:59:59am ET. Between now and October 30th, you can help make a difference in the lives of the young men of Loyola.
