Lucky To Be Alive-Needs Surgery
Organized by: Trisha Pearson
Four years ago Lucky was found in an abandoned house and taken to a shelter. The day before he was scheduled to be euthenized my family saved him. We named him Lucky for two reasons. He was lucky to be alive and we were definitely lucky to have him join our family. This week Lucky ruptured a disk in his lower back causing pain and loss of mobility in his back legs which could lead to paralysis and eventual loss of life. We found a wonderful neurologist near Philadelphia to perform surgery on Lucky but we unfortunately we do not have $7,000. Time is ticking and with every passing day without surgery his prognosis looks worse. His life was saved once when we adopted him and we are hopeful with some financial help he can be lucky enough to get the surgery he needs to be saved again. Thank you for your consideration in contributing to our "Lucky to be Alive" fundraiser.
