Hi family and friends,
I hope you are well! This summer, I will be joining Calvary Chapel Natomas on a short term mission trip to Sendai, Japan from August 16-24. As you remember in March of 2011, the tsunami that was churned up from the 9.0 earthquake was known to be one of worst disasters in their current history. The impact of the tsunami caused the nuclear crisis at Fukushima and its massive waves uprooted buildings, displaced boats and vehicles, and claimed +20,000 lives in its path.
Although the tsunami occurred a year ago, there is still much work to do in rebuilding their homes and lives. With the short time that we have in Japan, we will be helping in the disaster relief and outreaching to the nearby community. Currently, we are a team of 10 and we will meet up with a sister church, Calvary Chapel in Sendai.
I am blessed to have this opportunity to experience God’s deep love for Japan. I am first and foremost praying for God’s mercy on me and for Him to prepare my heart for this trip. The trip will be funded by donations and fundraising by the team members going on the trip. I am excited about the opportunity to serve and to minister and I ask if you would join me in this ministry.
I am seeking your prayers and if you feel so led by the Spirit to support me in this mission trip you can make donations on this website.
Please keep me and our team in your prayers as we prepare and leave for our trip!
All the best,
