Luke Winter, originally from Norwich, Norfolk, England, has been a starting striker for Chattanooga Football Club since 2010. As a star player for Chattanooga FC, Luke helped lead the team to four NPSL Finals, including the 2015 Finals against the NY Cosmos, which drew a record attendance of 18,000 fans to Finley Stadium in August. In college, Luke played soccer for Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens, TN. Luke believes his highest achievement at Tennessee Wesleyan College was receiving the Athletic Director's award for helping turn the soccer program around. Luke stays involved in the Chattanooga community, and it's often through the sport of soccer that he does so. Luke and the rest of the 2015 Chattanooga FC team visited Siskin Children's Institute in July 2015 to learn about Siskin's role in the community and to also play soccer with the children on Siskin's playground. Luke has also served as a mentor and coach for Chattanooga Sports Ministries for several of the past summers. Currently, Luke serves as assistant coach for the men's soccer team at Bryan College.
