MY BABY STEPS - CRAWL, WALK, RUN!
I was all PSYCHED to run the marathon after dealing with my latest flare and just 2 weeks ago, got stopped in my tracks by an injury. While that was disappointing, my bestie Chris picked up my spirits by taking my spot, and is running in my honor - what a God-send!!
Please help US reach our goal to raise $2,000!!!!
If you want to know a little more about my (Adrienne) lupus story, just - scroll on...
In 2008, debilitating joint pain and swelling left me unable to walk forcing me to crawl up and down the stairs, extreme fatigue and a flurry of other symptoms slowed me down. I ended up in the hospital in late March and I got my lupus diagnosis on April Fool's Day! Relief! I got meds, I got out, and...
I got better, then, I got worse.
Then I got better, again, I got worse...
This past August; my kidney disease relapsed & again, I could barely walk - now I'm back in action and I thank God for an awesome support system.
