For the most part, being tall has always been a positive thing in my life. You could always find me in pictures, on the back row. I never had problems reaching anything on a shelf. And my height has been a plus in many sports from basketball, baseball, and golf, to some extent. But I'm afraid I may get the "short end of the stick"( Jim Creamer) in my latest sports endeavor, and we would appreciate your moral and monetary support. I, David Peterson, 6'5",and Jim Creamer, height unspecified, are partnering in a 3-legged race to benefit the LVH(Larry Vance Hughes) ALS Foundation to raise funds for ALS research. Like my Golf game, I have a handicap in this race, which I do believe will be Jim. We need all the help and encouragement we can get and would greatly appreciate any donations you could give. If you would like to show your support for our Team, as well as for this great cause, please Donate to this Fundraiser.
Join the fun and make a difference. We are having a DERBY Dinner on April 30th to raise fund for research in hope to find a CURE for ALS. The party is a Kentcuky Derby themed party, with Mint Julep's, Lilies, and Blue Grass Music, etc. We will take a break from the event and have 10 to 12 teams run a three legged race for a chance to win the LVH ALS Derby and be crowned CHAMPIONS! The Winning team will be given Roses, a Trophy and a bottle of Dom Perignon. We will also be selling tickets during the event. People will be encouraged to buy $20/tickets on the team they think will win the race. After the race is over the teams will come back to WinMock and we will show the video of the race and crown the winner. We will then draw a ticket from the winners bowl and pick one person to give tickets to the 2016 Kentucky Derby at Churchhill Downs. www.lvhalsfoundation.org
