BENEFITING: American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
EVENT DATE: Aug 27, 2014
As many of you know, my birthday is almost here once again. Every year I have been fortunate to have such amazing family and friends that have dedicated so much of their time and love to my make my birthday the most memorable one. For this I am truly grateful for and will never trade anything in the world for it.
As the time nearly comes again this year I ask myself, "What do I really wish for this year?"
In recent news, and in many occurences throughout my life, the topic of suicide has come up so often and I have never been able to come up with a solution to be able to help those that have been greatly effected by it. Although I have not personally been effected by it, I always question myself: What can I do to help? What is that one extra step I can take to make a difference to try and help elleviate from a problem that is preventable?
This year, as I celebrate my 25th birthday, I ask that you find it in your hearts to fullfill my one and only wish: to make a difference and try to help those that have been effected by this issue in any part of their lives. This year I ask that you make a donation to the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention to help their mission in understanding and preventing suicide through research, education, advocacy, and to reach out to those that have been impacted by suicide. Any kind of contribution would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you to everyone in advance for all of your help & for making my birthday wish come true!
