BENEFITING: MICHIGAN ANIMAL ADOPTION NETWORK
The Michigan Animal Adoption Network's Animal Care Network Program in Pontiac and Inkster, MI has been on the streets for the past twenty years bringing food, shelter, and love to the animals.
It takes monetary donations to help all the animals and that is where we need you. To put it bluntly, we need monetary donations to continue our lifesaving programs. The end of the year fundraiser is our only big fundraiser of the year. Please help us make this year the best year ever. We have selected a $50,000.00 goal this year and with your help we can reach it and possibly even pass it!
The money that is raised will be used for our spay/neuter programs and for food for animals that will be disbursed to low income families. With your help many animals can be helped.
Spaying and neutering of all animals is very important in our target areas. There are too many homeless animals and spaying/neutering will help lower these numbers. For an $80.00 donation, a dog can be spayed or neutered. For a $40.00 donation, a cat can be spayed or neutered. A $25.00 donation can purchase two bags of 20 lb dog food and $20.00 can purchase two bags of 16 lb.cat food.
What a great feeling to know that you helped a family keep their animal!

Every single weekend of the year, Animal Care Network (ACN) volunteers pick up between 10 and 30 unwanted and abandoned animals.
In addition to picking up abandoned animals, ACN volunteers provide an average of 650 animal wellness checks for animals every single month. Many of these animals live outdoors. ACN will provide food, water and proper a doghouse (fiberglass doghouse placed off the ground on a wood pallet with straw to regulate an animal’s temperature in extreme weather) in exchange for the dog owner arranging for the animal to be spayed or neutered through the group’s low-cost programs.
MAAN / ACN has been helping Metro Detroit animals since 1994. To date, MAAN has placed more than 4,500 dogs and cats through their Adopt-A-Pet program and ACN has visited over 90,000 addresses to offer assistance. Over 6,200 cats and dogs have been sterilized as well. These programs have received national recognition from Animal Planet, The History Channel, Best Friends Animal Society and Linda Ellerbee of Nickelodeon News.
To be able to continue this work, ACN is holding this winter drive!
