THE STORY:
Margot M wrote -
Our family went to Kenya for a safari, and visited a school, where the plight of nine eighth grade girls stole our hearts.
They are desperate to study at secondary school. If they don't, their families can't afford to keep them at home and they will be married off.
It costs $5000 to send one of these girls to school for all four years - that's everything: room, board, tuition, books.
We want to raise the funds to send all nine of them to secondary school for four years and change their lives forever.
All donations are tax exempt; Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust is a proven, experienced 501 C 3 and will provide 100% of these donations to the girls' educations.
These women could be future leaders in their community; and in the Maasai villages this would be a welcome change.
Donate above and join our team and help fundraise for the cause. Thanks so much for your support!
PS I know there are 8 in the picture. One was sick.
