The Madhattan Run is a unique, invitation only charity fun run around the 32 mile circumference of Manhattan that I helped organize with a few close friends. The goal of the Madhattan is to raise funds for some worthy causes whilst delivering a fun, challenging and rewarding experience with like-minded people who are driven to push the boundaries and make a difference. How many people can honestly say they have run around Manhattan?
In light of the recent damage casued by Hurrican Sandy, all proceeds that we raise will go towards the Robin Hood foundation, which is a NYC based charity and is currently focussing its time/energy/money to Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts.
Please donate whatever you can. Whether it is $1,000 or even just $32 ($1 for every mile we will be running). Every dollar counts! I spent a day volunteering in Rockaway Queens the weekend after the Hurricane and its truly devasting to see hard working American's lose everthing. They need help. And as an fyi, many people often raise money for races becasue it is the only way to get into a sold out race. That is not the case here. I started this race b/c we all need to give back to those less fortunate than us.
