Move for Hunger is a New Jersey non-profit, a national movement, and a simple solution to a daunting problem: food insecurity and food waste. It is the first and only non-profit in the United States that creates, sustains, and expands a network of socially responsible relocation companies to fight hunger and reduce food waste.
Nearly 50 million Americans are hungry, including 1 in 5 children. And yet, 40 percent of all food grown, processed, and transported in the United States is discarded.
In just seven years, Move for Hunger has mobilized partners nationwide to collect 7 million pounds of food and provide 6 million meals to families in need!
The innovative interns of Move for Hunger are fundraising in order to expand this mobilization effort. So many children, families, and seniors do not have enough to eat. They struggle to pay their rent and medical bills while attempting to put healthy food on the table. Your donation will help! Please join our movement to reduce hunger and food waste and strengthen families across the country.
