BENEFITING: Research Down Syndrome
EVENT DATE: Jan 18, 2015
Jonathan and I will be running 19.3 miles this weekend at Disneyland, for Sweet Madi Evers and all others living with Down Syndrome. We are running for Team Research Down Syndrome. Madison Evers was born on July 24th, 2013, with Down syndrome and needed open heart surgery to repair 2 large holes in her heart. Today, January, 15, 2015, she had Open Heart Surgery #2, to repair the heart valve. The surgery was successful and we are so thankful! She needs all of our prayers and support right now as she is in recovery from today's surgery.
Research Down Syndrome educates and inspires a caring society to fund biomedical research findings which will translate into safe and effective, approved therapies to treat the cognitive impairment in individuals with Down syndrome of all ages. None of this research would be possible without donations and unfortunately, Down syndrome research is UNDERFUNDED!
Please join us in helping raise awareness and funding for Down syndrome research...scientific studies aimed at developing treatments to improve memory and learning in persons with Down Syndrome.
Please donate here to support Research Down Syndrome (RDS), a non-profit foundation that enables Down syndrome cognitive research. The potential of these treatments to address Down syndrome cognitive dysfunction is tremendous-improving memory, learning and communication-and expanding and enhancing life opportunities for these individuals.
Thank you for helping us run even MORE Magical Miles for Madi!
