The Magic House, St. Louis Children's Museum is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to engaging all children with hands-on learning experiences that encourage experimentation, creativity and the development of problem solving skills within a place of beauty, wonder, joy and magic.
Since 1979, our vision is to be an inclusive organization, reaching out to those in the community who have the fewest opportunities. The Museum has over 550,000 annual visitors including 50,000 students who participate in curriculum-enriching field trip programs. Of those students 45% visit at no charge through a scholarship program that provides free admission to all Title 1 schools and schools with 50% free and reduced lunch (an indicator of childhood poverty). Additionally, The Magic House serves 22,000 students through programming in their own schools, libraries and hospitals. 70% of these outreach programs are free of charge.
We would not be able to reach these children without generous donors like you. The Magic House is on Crowdrise to raise awareness for the work we do in the community and do raise funds to make it possible. You can support our Education Program Fund by joining Team Magic and running a race or by making an outright donation to the cause.
Thank you for brightening the lives of children.
