What is HCAP?
HCAP is a private, non-profit 501(C) 3 agency that has been serving Oahu's low-income residents since 1965.
What does HCAP do?
HCAP offers a range of programs and services to assist individuals and families to gain self-sufficiency. Annually, HCAP impacts over 17,000 people on Oahu.
What is HCAP's mission?
HCAP serves the local community through its mission of POI: Providing Opportunities and Inspiration to enable low-income individuals or families to achieve self-reliance.
What programs does HCAP offer?
HCAP offers programs and services in six major areas: Early Childhood: Employment; Education; Economic Development; Emergency and Transitional Programs; and Community Developement and Advocacy.
Who is eligible for HCAP's programs?
HCAP's programs are designed to benefit low-income and disadvantaged clients. Eligibility for individual programs varies based on specific guidelines set by funders.
