NYC Poetry to Home MJ & Clem
Organized by: Mary Jane Mahan
EVENT DATE Aug 15, 2016
My rescue dog and I moved to New York City on July 4. I came on guided inspiration and a work-live opporunity with a forgiveness teacher. (Hey, it's my kinda awesome!)
Well, teacher's place was so run down, the plumbing broke as soon as we arrived and POOF~! we were on our own.
Thankfully, my focused prayer was heard -- we have a temporary sponsor host who is gifting us a place to stay until we land where we are supposed to be. I've been asked for a deposit and so I am sharing my poetry. (Our small nestegg has been used to keep us safe in the Big Apple while we patiently waited it out!)
I am so grateful for my family of friends who know HOW IMPORTANT it is for me to follow my dream of teaching peace. (My Intuition tells me that NYC is actually my primary teacher.) Getting uncomfortable to reach out like this is an act of faith and forgiveness for any missteps along this journey. This is where we are supposed to be and my creativity level affirms this. Here is my poem of thanks for your gift to our well being...
