Have you heard about my awesome school? At Radcliffe Creek, all the classes are really small and as a teacher, I get to teach new things in lots of fun ways, like popping balloons when students read new words, or making a board game and the questions are about the story students just read, or we go outside and practice math facts while we play basketball. For the students, it makes doing things that are hard to learn, fun! The other cool thing about Radcliffe is that all the students learn differently and so, as a teacher, I get to find a special way that works best for each of the students. I teach the students in a way that’s best for them - not the other way around. My students are learning that they are smart, capable, and that they can be a part of a really fun community. My favorite thing about Radcliffe? The flexibility in teaching!
Unfortunately, going to a school like Radcliffe costs a lot of money. And some kids who need to come to Radcliffe Creek can’t because of that. I thought you might be able to help! Every year, on Memorial Day Weekend, the school hosts the Run for Radcliffe, a 5k or half marathon race that raises money for the financial aid program, making it possible for more kids to come to our school, and find a different way to learn things that may have been really hard before. I’m hoping you might consider supporting me as we raise money for our fantastic school. Your donation will make sure that the education these students are receiving is possible for many more children to come.
Radcliffe Creek School changes children’s lives, and by participating in the Chestertown Tea Party 10-Miler and 5K Distance Classic/Run for Radcliffe, you are helping make this possible. Whether a student has a learning difference such as dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, executive function disorders, or a speech and language disorder, or would just simply benefit from an individualized environment, a Radcliffe education works.
