BENEFITING: MANOS INTERNACIONAL CORP
In Summer of 2015, I had the chance to visit the remote villages Manos serves in China. And it was in Zhuang Tou that I had the privilege of enjoying a performance from the Manos Senior Choir. The Manos Senior Choir, is comprised of the village elderly who volunteer to provide year-round entertainment to all, uniting generations through song and dance at the Manos Community Center. They've performed at the annual Manos Olympics Camp, our New Year's Gala event, the Manos Friendship Torch-run, and, of course, their signature event, the Summer Concert. Entertaining the entire village, Manos students, and friends visiting from abroad, the Manos Senior Choir bridges the generational gap that is prevalent even in remote villages today. Their music inspires cultural unity across the continents, and has given a mission and a purpose to our respected village elderly. The performance was wonderful! But I did notice a few things they could use help with...new t-shirts, a second speaker system and mic, and other equipment. Let's raise enough dollars to help provide them with new t-shirts, instruments, equipment and costumes so that they can continue sharing their love of music and dance with children from their village and with all of us across the globe!
