Manuel needs a home
Organized by: Rory Wilson
We have known Manuel for two years. We met him when we started doing charity work for Steps of Love Orphanage in Senoita, Sonora, Mexico. He has reached the age of twelve and has to move on. The options are adoption or another orphanage that takes older children. He has visited the orphanage for older children it is terrifying to him. We have been asked by the orphanage to adopt him and of course we want to. We have a home with room and the means to take care of him but the cost of the adoption is not something we can cover in a such a short period. While both my wife and I work we simply do not have the funds to make this happen on time. It is surprisingly expensive and time consuming to adopt from Mexico. There will be a few tax credits and possibly some reimbursement from my company but it will not be enough. Any and all help will be appreciated by both our family and Manuel and any excess will be paid forward to another adoption.
