March for Moms Walk Sunday, April 30, 8 AM. Meet near DeMeester bandshell, Reid Park, Tucson.
April 29, 2017
Tucson Postpartum Depression Coalition will be teaming up with the March of Dimes and other maternal mental health advocacy groups around the country for the rights of mothers and babies to have healthy pregnancies and the best start in life. Untreated perinatal mental illness can lead to premature birth and poor health outcomes for the infant, not only from the day of delivery, but throughout life. Mother's health matters for the mother and the entire family and we want to do our part to educate and advocate for improved knowledge, screening, identification and treatment to help reduce adverse perinatal outcomes.
