Truth be told is that I don't really like running. And despite completing the Detroit Free Press Marathon last fall and running the Half Marathon this weekend, I don't really consider myself a runner.
I do, however, proudly consider myself an active member of the Hope Water Project team. It's because of the Hope Water Project and the mission to bring clean water to the Pokot in Kenya that I run. It's because of being a part of something bigger, something so impactful, something so spiritual, something so rooted in community, and something so rooted in God himself that I choose to run...
Or maybe... just maybe... it's that I've been chosen to run. Chosen to run with Hope Water Project, to run for the Pokot, to run with others who understand the transformative equation of "clean water + faith in God = restored life".
Please consider donating to Hope Water Project by supporting me as I continue to Run with Purpose.
