People hope to find shelter in a church that has lost its roof.

BENEFITING: FROM HERE TO HAITI LTD
The south of Haiti is devastated. The eye of Hurricane Matthew passed over Les Abricots and devastated the town. The community lost homes, crops, livestock. The roof of the church is gone. Churches and schools are places of refuge in time of need. Although the church - Marie Reine Immaculee - lost its roof, it retained its rafters. We need to purchase the roofing sheets to cover the church and provide a place for the community to sleep while they are fixing their homes. We cannot let ourselves be discouraged. We are fortunate to have a roof, a meal, clean water and dry clothes. Our gratitude must lie in our perseverance to make repairs as soon as possible to diminish the pain of our Haitian friends. From Here to Haiti keeps its budgets low by working hand in hand with the community making it possible to accomplish a lot in a short time.
