2017 Marilyn's Spring Stroll
April 29, 2017
EVENT DATE: Apr 29, 2017
Welcome to our 6th annual Marilyn’s Spring Stroll!!
The goal of our event is to raise awareness and money to help find a cure for Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP).
What is PSP, you ask? I don’t blame you- PSP is a rare brain disease - only about one percent as common as Parkinson's disease. Like other "neurodegenerative" diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Lou Gehrig's, it is a disease where the brain cells cumulatively break down for unclear reasons. And because PSP is rare, it is often misdiagnosed. With more exposure, education and research, we want to help find a cure for PSP.
Please help us do that by showing your support and make a donation to the foundation called CurePSP. We welcome all friends and families who share a connection and hope to cure this horrible disease.
TOGETHER we walk for a cure. Our goal is to have a day filled with fun, laughter, hope and memories.
TOGETHER we walk, symbolically forward in hope of making progress in finding a cure for this insidious disease.
TOGETHER, we can make a difference.
This event is all the more special because of friends and family like you, who show their support and keep our circle growing, knowing that together we ARE making a difference.
Please take the time to visit www.curepsp.org to see the progress researchers are making with our donations. Afterwards, please donate whatever you can.
The event will take place at Belmont Lake State Park Saturday, April 29, 2017. We will meet at 11:30 am, group photo at noon with the walk to follow.
