On January 2,2016 I tore the flexor tendon in my right hand and it was from a simple twist of my ankle and I grabbed the porch railing to keep me from falling and it just ruptured a pop I felt in my hand and my fingers wouldn't work any longer. I tried to work the rest of the month to get the $225.00 up to see the hand specialist, since I have no insurance. By February 2,2016 I couldn't bend my fingers any longer. My hand wouldn't work. I went and seen the hand surgeon and he referred me to another one. As of now I am out of work for 12-18 months and have no income. I have had two surgeries on my hand and there wanting to do a third surgery to put in a syliastic rod and remove some scar tissue because apparently my body over makes scar tissue and its bound the tendon down in my hand. I am a single mother of two kids at home and don't know what else to do. I have applied for temporary disability until I can get back to work but was denied last week. So I will apply again. All I can do is pray.
