It’s only been a few weeks since we busted little Marlon out of the shelter. The poor guy was dumped there with a bladder full of stones! He was in terrible pain, so we scheduled him a surgery immediately to remove the stones. While that particular surgery was successful, it will only provide temporarily relief for the little guy. The doctor found more stones in his urethra which he will also need to have surgically removed. After the second surgery, Marlon will have to tinkle like a girl, but will otherwise live a normal, healthy life :)
While Marlon is comfortable now with one of our amazing fosters, Robyn, the relief is only temporary. We need to schedule that 2nd surgery sooner than later.
Yeah... these surgeries are expensive. But hey, we are not giving up on this little guy. Once recovered, this 5 year-old, 10 pound little cutie will make the most loving addition to any family. Let's get him 100%!
