By the time kids living in low-income communities reach 6th grade, they suffer from a 6,000 hour learning gap in comparison to middle class peers.  

In 5 years, Coaching4Change has received national recognition for our high quality programming, which provides after school opportunities for struggling students in low-income communities.  C4C trains college and high school students to be coaches and tutors.  Then we match them with struggling middle school students to provide targeted interventions to help improve academic and social outcomes.
