BENEFITING: CHICAGO FIRE FOUNDATION
EVENT DATE: Oct 12, 2014
For this year's Chicago Marathon I have decided to run for the Chicago Fire Foundation.
Through the Chicago Fire Foundation, the Fire is able to give back to the community by developing programs that reach out to Chicagoland's community.
Since 1998, the Chicago Fire Foundation, the charitable arm of the Chicago Fire Major League Soccer Team, has made significant contributions to enhance the lives of disadvantaged youth throughout Chicagoland.
Its goal off the field is to contribute to the quality of life in Chicago and its surrounding communities and the Foundation has contributed more than $1.7 million to the Chicagoland community since its inception in 1998.
I also wanted to have my son Leo, meet Sparky, the Chicago Fire mascot!
