PROJECT 351 is a youth service organization dedicated to building unity and leadership through the engagement and enrichment of an 8th grade Ambassador from every city
and town in Massachusetts. Created as an event of Governor Deval Patrick’s second inaugural, Project 351 is now a statewide non-profit that partners with an extraordinary community of educators, service and non-profit organizations, private sector leaders, families, and volunteers to achieve its mission.
PROJECT 351 celebrates the ethic of service, youth leadership, and the power of community to uplift and unite. The goodness and grace of our Ambassadors and Alumni serves as the foundation of our efforts. Youth are selected for an exemplary ethic of service and the values of kindness, compassion, humility, and generosity of spirit.
Annually, Ambassadors are invited to “unite, act, and lead” at a January celebration and service day in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., June Leadership Reunion, and two signature statewide service days that hone leadership skills and scale impact for select non-profit partners. Leadership development, one-on-one mentoring, service opportunities, and a statewide community of friends engage and enrich this rising generation of leaders.
Leadership development and community impact supported by individuals and private sector leaders including:
John Hancock, Highland Street Foundation, Brookfield Renewable Energy Group, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Pfizer, Foundation to Be Named Later, AT&T, and Bank of America.
