Please help my husband and I raise the needed funds to help these children.

I am working with Mtaala Foundation, a small, grass-roots charity, that partners with Ugandans to support educational communities for Ugandan children affected by Kony’s brutal war, orphaned by the HIV/AIDs epidemic, and those living daily in abject poverty. I was struck by the dire straits these children have been burdened by no fault of their own. After consultation with Ugandan community members, we decided that providing basic, quality healthcare was the first step in creating a better world for them, and us. Recently, we have begun the construction of a Maternal & Pediatric Health Clinic at the Awegys Secondary School in Kigo, Uganda to serve those in most need.
I am now raising funds to supply and staff the clinic. The goal is to provide the local community with both a trained nurse and a mid-wife which will alleviate the need to travel great distances, often by foot, in order to receive life saving healthcare, especially care concerning child birth.
The Mtaala Foundation, which is run by volunteers and sends over 95% of its donations directly to Uganda, has partnered with U.S. schools and universities, international businesses, and concerned individuals to raise awareness and monetary funds that are helping to build schools and clinics to support the education and health of the most vulnerable of Ugandan children.
<--- Please watch this video of one of our students. Sadly, he was kidnapped and forced to become a child soldier in Kony's war. Here he describes that ordeal, followed by a tour of the school Mtaala supports.
It takes very little by American standards to effect dramatic, life-altering change for these children that the world has forgotten. Please help me help them by providing a them fighting chance at reasonable health by supporting this worthy endeavor.
Please forward and share this cause with you family and friends. Thank you!
