Maggie Campbell wrote -My husband, Matt Raw, is running the 2015 NYC Marathon this Sunday, November 1. When he signed up, there weren't empty spaces on the Alzheimer's fundraising teams, which was what he wanted to do, but he signed up individually for the marathon and was lucky enough to get a lottery spot. Matt's mom, Nancy, suffers from early onset Alzheimer's disease, so the cause is near and dear to our hearts, and I wanted to find a way to connect Matt's run to the cause. Matt's been training for months (on top of us having a newborn!), and I'm spearheading a super quick fundraising moment over the next few days to recognize the work he's put in and raise some money for the Cure Alzheimer's Fund, an incredible organization we've gotten to know over the last few years that puts every penny of its money toward research to find a cure for Alzheimer's disease. If you have a couple of bucks to spare, please help make this Sunday's run even more meaningful for Matt by showing him our support for this cause that means so much to him.
