BENEFITING: Asphalt Green, Inc.
On July 19, I’ll be diving into the Hudson River for my fourth New York City Triathlon. This year, it's to benefit Asphalt Green and their athletic programs for at-risk kids.
Asphalt Green is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to assisting more than 31,000 at-risk kids achieve health through a lifetime of sports and fitness. This includes a learn-to-swim program reaching 2,500 public school kids. The Recess Enhancement Program brings structured fun activity to 28,000 students at 61 public schools. Their Community Sports Leagues offer a competitive team experience to 750 kids in 12 Harlem schools offering flag football, basketball, gymnastics and soccer.
The triathlon course consists of a 1.5K swim, 40K bike and 10K run. Please support me with a donation to Asphalt Green.
