BENEFITING: AMBASSADOR PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
Hope all is going well for you and I sincerely thank you for taking the time to read this. I have long believed that this life is a short one and that our time to make a difference, no matter how small, is limited.
I have the incredible opportunity to travel to The Gambia, a small, coastal, west African country at the end of August. I will be traveling with four other men from my church. Specifically, myself and another will be ministering to children at risk to the child sex trade. Unfortunately, this is a very real problem in the country and around the world, with nearly two million children being exploited. There are presently two children's homes where we will be going - one for girls and another for boys. Not only do these homes offer a safe haven, but also an education that will equip them to obtain a quality job. My aim is to share the love of Christ to these children and also learn how we can help them moving forward. I have been told that the need in The Gambia is great, that they could presently build ten more homes along with child sponsorship. My hope, moving forward is that I will become a passionate advocate for these children around the world. Sometimes, a small spark can start a fire. And I'm hoping that is what happens for me through this trip. You can learn more about the program by going to https://remembernhu.org
I need to raise $2300 for the trip. Between that and the adoption we have coming up at the end of the year, your support is greatly appreciated. All donations are tax deductible and will be going to Ambassador Presbyterian Church, our sending agent. I sincerely appreciate your consideration and prayers!
