Matt's Volunteer Work in Tanzania
Organized by: Matt Miller
I'm asking for your help as I go almost half way around the world to be a part of a mission in Ivuna, Tanzania which is a coastal country on the east side of Africa. My primary task will be teaching 2, three month long English classes, for students who are ready to enter secondary school where they will be taught in English after being taught in their native language, Swahili, in primary school. This sudden transition makes it very difficult for these students to continue learning effectively, as they know very little English. I plan to be in Tanzania for two years, starting the end of March, helping with many different tasks aside from my English classes such as; providing clean water and other developmental improvements, spreading the Gospel of Christ in villages near and far, helping with some clinic work, teaching Bible classes, and learning to live simply as my African neighbors. I am asking for 5000 to help cover my living expenses as I help spread the Gospel in Africa. Your donation, large or small, will be greatly appreciated. God Bless.
