There's a few things that I know. The first is that being a mom is a tough job under any circumstances. The second is that living in paradise can be challenging for any family, with the high cost of living it's easier here than most places to fall on hard times. The third is that the homeless children in our community belong to all of us, and the very best way we can support them is by holding up their mothers. And the fourth is that Maui moms are some of the kindest, most generous-spirited women you will meet anywhere. The Aloha spirit is alive and well thanks to them!
"When we as givers give we remember… I am needed. I am powerful. I am capable of loving my neighbors. There is enough. And when the receivers receive they remember… I am loved. I am cared for. I am not alone. I have not been forgotten. There is enough." -- Glennon Doyle Melton, Momastery
