Well, my family finally did it. Convinced me to participate in a run. I'm not much of a runner, but me and my mom will "walk" the Oceanside Turkey Trot 5K on Thanksgiving morning.
To raise awareness and funding for babies, kids and teens who are fighting cancer, and for those who will be diagnosed. Did you know that about 46 kids under 15 are diagnosed with cancer every school day in the United States? That's more than one full classroom of kids... everyday.
How you can help
I'm looking for 10 of my friends to donate $10 to my campaign. You can make a donation here or hand me the cash when you see me (I'll enter it on my end).
For those of you who don't know, I lost my brother, Max, to cancer when I was only 9 years old. He was 7. My family strives to fund relevant, low-toxicity clinical trials, in hopes that one day soon a cure - or a viable treatment - will be found.
Thanks so much for your support!
