BENEFITING: KYLE PEASE FOUNDATION INC
Max Wilkins wrote -"Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! On March 20, 2016, I will be competing in the Publix Half Marathon (13.1). I will be part of a team that is excited to be racing along side the Kyle Pease Foundation and their friends. The purpose of the Kyle Pease Foundation (KPF) is to create awareness and raise funds to promote success for people with disabilities by providing assistance to meet their individual needs through sports. Programs may include scholarship opportunities, purchasing of medical equipment or adaptive sports equipment for others or contributing to other organizations that provide similar assistance to disabled persons as well as participating in educational campaigns to create awareness about Cerebral Palsy and other disabilities. KPF will provide these services directly to individuals as well as to partner with other existing non-profit organizations to achieve these goals. Direct benefits will be limited to people with disabilities who need adaptive sports equipment, mobility devices or medical care. Last year, The Kyle Pease Foundation took 22 families/racers to the start line along with a host of volunteers. With your help we can make this year even bigger! With your support, other individuals will get to participate in road races, triathlons & many other sporting endeavors. Every dollar helps and is 100% tax-deductible! For the first time I will be sharing a half marathon with an athlete in a chair (I'll be a pusher). I'm excited about this opportunity to share the race experience in this way. I sure hope you will consider making a donation on here to support what we and KPF are doing. I'm grateful for your support.
