Maya came to All Breed Canine Rescue to get a second chance. Our volunteers were initially alarmed at her emaciated condition, yet we were confident she was not neglected or abused in her last home. So we began to try and unravel her mystery of why she didn't want to eat and why she is so thin. With the help and assistance of Dr. Mor at East London Animal Hospital in London, many tests have been done....bloodwork, xrays, and so much more, yet no major health issues have been found. It could be a gastric irritation, or it could be a neurological disorder. Maya *was* shaken by the head as a puppy by an adult dog. Maya remains fairly active, friendly, well balanced in nature. But her thin appearance and lack of appetite still mystifies us. The vet bill for Maya is already at $1200. We need your help to cover these expenses, as well as help us continue to care for Maya with future tests and ideas. Please help us help Maya. Your financial gift is truly appreciated. Please share Maya's pleas far and wide.
