In honor of Mary Elizabeth McKoane Koelling, Mother of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Brother Ryan Ingram, who passed away suddenly during a business trip in Dallas, Texas on October 11, 2013, at the age of 46, the Brothers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Illinois Beta are dedicating their Paddy Murphy Philanthropy Fundraiser in her name. All proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to the American Heart Association.
Mary Beth was a lifelong Barrington resident, a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church, Executive Vice President of Operations at Practical Communications, and a tireless volunteer for many local organizations. A graduate of Elgin Academy and Boston College, Mary Beth was an accomplished skier, and loved tennis, golf, fitness, her family and friends. She was married to David, the love of her life, and they were inseparable. Her sons, Danny and Ryan Ingram, and her stepchildren, Jessen and Jorie Koelling gave her constant joy. She was a proud and devoted mother; Mary Beth's family was the center of her universe. As busy as she was raising four children and working full time, Mary Beth always made time for her friends and extended family. She was loved by all who knew her, and highly respected in her business.
No donation is too small. Please take the time to forward this to friends and family that you think will be interested in donating. The Brothers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon and the Koelling/Ingram Family deeply appreciate your consideration in this regard.
This fundraiser is in conjunction with a week of philanthropy events put on by the Illinois Beta chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon at the University of Illinois consisting of the following activities:
Monday April 7th: A sponsored Mia Zas promotion event. American Heart Association receives 25% of proceeds generated from sales by saying "Paddy Murphy" at the door.
Wednesday April 9th: Sorority volleyball tournament.
Friday April 11th: Frat Park Game Day. Wide spread of competition oriented events such as a dunk tank, tug of war, and water balloon toss.
