On Monday April 20, 2015 around 10 am I will be in Hopkinton, MA lining up to run my 10th Boston Marathon and 20th Marathon overall. For the fifth year in a row, I will be running as a member of the McCourt Foundation Marathon Team.
This year I will be running - once again - in memory of my Grandfather and my friend, Joseph M. Gaudreau who passed away February 4, 2013 from Alzhiemer's. I miss him every day and hope you will consider helping us raise funds and awareness to fight this disease.
Alzheimer’s has become the sixth leading cause of death in the US. To put that in perspective, every 67 seconds someone is diagnosed with the disease. In 2013, 15.5 million caregivers provided an estimated 17.7 billion (with a “b”) hours of unpaid care valued at over $200 billion.
Thank you in advance.
