The Mount Desert Island Historical Society keeps, discovers, and celebrates the history of Mount Desert Island. When we run through this beautiful landscape, we are also running through a timescape -- and creating a deeper appreciation for this beautiful island.
On the day of the marathon, October 20, listen for our percussion ensemble at the Old School House & Museum on Sound Drive in Mount Desert, near mile 18.
