I believe in the reasoning that all people deserve the chance at an education, which is just one of the many reasons I am working to help build a footbridge in the community of Llapallapani near Laribay, Bolivia. Because of this bridge, hundreds of children will have safe access to school, medical aid, and many other necessities even during the rainy season, when the river is high and dangerous.
This bridge will be the longest suspension bridge (127.50m) attempted by the B2P organization yet so it is a tall order to accomplish in the time we have out there. Lot's of upfront design work has already happened between Kiewit and Parsons Brinckerhoff to develop a set of working drawings and now we are ready to go build this thing!!
I am hoping to raise enough money to help with some of the travel expenses and also to bring out some items with me that will help out the younger citizens of the local communities. Per our recent jobsite relocation from Mecapaca to Llapallapani and a new start time I'll have more time to raise money for this venture.
Please donate today, and join me in making this project possible!
Thanks so much,
