On October 7 I'll be returning to the course where I ran my first marathon. That year I was healing from my broken collar bone, and to be running the race felt like an accomplishment. That year, I ran for me, and this year I want to run for something more, so I have joined Team Nature to raise money to protect natural places in our state. As we're reminded when we cross the Mississippi at mile 19, those choices do not just impact us now, but everyone downstream.
The Nature Conservancy is saving our most cherished places and protecting our resources to prepare for a future that sustains us all. We are racing against time to save these places and resources. We need them to survive. And that’s why you need to support my race by giving to The Nature Conservancy — right now.
I've set my personal goal at $1,000. So I'm hoping for your help to reach my goal. Any amount you'd like to donate will help. Consider supporting The Nature Conservancy’s work by donating:
